French is a romance language. Its delicacy and its sex-appeal has
gone beyong any doubt to establish it as the most beautiful language of
the World. It is one of the few official International languages as
defined by the United Nations. The French language is spoken in many
continental regions of the world: Africa (several countries), North
America (Canada), South America (French Guiana) and the Caribbean and
of course in Europe, in the country of its origin France and great part
of Belgium, Luxemburg, and Switzerland. It is also a prominent language
in Vietnam as part of the legacy of France occupation of that country.
There was a time that French was the No. 1 International language
by choice that was learned by lots of people throughout the world.
Today that position has been taken by the English Language. The French
language has influenced all other major languages. Many french words
have being filtered into other languages.
